In partnership with Mind Body and Soul (MBS) for Mental Health in BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) Communities in the UK and Kratos Sports, Pacers advanced the agenda of advocating for Mental Health Well-being of youth in Uganda.
The Sports event organized by Kratos featured 8 schools from the central region of Uganda, fans ans socialists.
We used this platform to offer counseling sessions and provide guide on coping mechanisms and best practices for ones welbeing. We used club branded merchandise filled in awareness messages to convey the messages beyond the event.
Pacers used the event to launch the Might Mug; that were given to all captains of the teams as daily reminder of their responsibility to ensure well-being of team mates.
The proceedings from the Fundraiser went to the procurement of more merchandise that will be used in the future campaigns.
